In order not to damage the letters of the Torah (the Five Books of Moses, written on a parchment scroll), the Torah reader uses a pointer to keep his or her place when reading. They are traditionally made of silver. This one is functional, but intended for use as a decorative item or a presentation or thank you gift.

A twisted shaft with the pointing hand and the end cap in gold, and a raised motif at the grip. Introduced in 1991, with the honey and apple plate and the Italian-motif porcelain mezuzah, in the studio's "New Stuff" announcement. The photograph shows a batch on the studio bench in 2015, still being made twenty years after the line ended.
